Profile

Dhe-Dhe Percussion, based in Solo, Central Java, was founded in September 2008 by Sri Waluya. Their main musical instrument is the “djimbe” (goblet shaped, skin covered hand drum). The group mixes various musical styles, reggae, traditional “calung” (from West Java) as well as contemporary dances enriching them with the rhythm of the djimbe.
